They say the first thought usually is going to depict how your day it's gonna be like. & Im gonna say, "Today's gonna be a happy day & I'm gonna love it!" Repeat it with me (:
& what's a great way to start your day? Making your own breakfast! At your own sweet time. It's been long since i slowed things down (instead of all the rushing for time every workday) & really learn to appreciate the the simplest things like making your food from scratch. The joy that it brings after somehow teaches me to appreciate my own food.
I read this Slow Food Movement from
here where she talks about the lifestyle of slowing down, clean eating & alot more. & ya, sometimes we so often rushes through things that we don't even know we're actually rushing. It's so tuned into us like once we kick off to do our tasks snap! we just rush it through. How often do you really sit down & eat your food slow-ly? How often to you take your time to walk home slow-ly & look at the people & things around you?
Slow down your steps for a day. Look around you. Maybe you'll start to notice things that you have been missing out when you were rushing all this time. & feel that joy which slowing down brings.
